For over 20 years in clinical practice, I have witnessed countless patients—across all age groups—suffer from severe, often irreversible vision loss. The pain and distress they experienced, paired with my own limitations in reversing their damage, left a profound and lasting impact on me. In addition, over time I observed a growing number of patients struggling with high blood pressure, diabetes, and mental health disorders. Through research, inputs from subject matter experts and my own assessment, I came to realize that three elements were essential to addressing these challenges:

1. Education – to help people understand their underlying conditions; 
2. Awareness – of available treatment options; and 
3. Timely action – to prevent progression and manage the conditions effectively.

With these 3 pillars in mind, I co-founded the “Aaronya Foundation for People” to bring a ray of hope and support primarily for underserved communities—those most deeply affected by blindness and health issues. Our mission is to empower individuals/families through knowledge, access, and early intervention, to bring a lasting difference in their lives.
